Alarm...

Ive recently bought a Clio 182, and the alarm that is fitted doesnt seem to work properly. Im not too sure if its a standard alarm system thats fitted or another one but when i lock the car the alarm never seems to work :S its only seems to do it beep every so often.....
Any solutions???

The best thing to do is disconnect it totally - When Renault alarm systems go wrong they are a nightmare.

I heard that another solution can be by changing the battery in the key thob? Is this true??

It is, but it only works in 2% of cases.

Honestly, just get the whole lot removed. Save yourself a load of hassle!
