alarming

my factory fitted alarm has started doing somthing strange

the car - N Reg 96 16v clio

what happens and its done it twice now is all the electrics go and a quiete beeping comes from the car the only way to stop it that sems to work is to disconec the Black contact on the baterry also has any one got a key for the key hole that is next to the whasher bottle under the bonnet (Alarm reset/dissarm switch)


has any one else had any thing like this as any help or advice would be good as renault could not help as they do not have any details of the alarms

Ive still got my key for the alarm overide, by the washer, by surely mine will be different to yours??

I have problems with my standard alarm, it goes off ALL the time for no reason, I eventually got p*ssed of and switched it off with the key and just use the remote for central locking now.
Ill take it to a garage soon, but havent yet found one that do alarms.
