why cant i disconnect my battery wothout the alarm goign off, this i both my sigma and my renault one it never used to do it till a good few months back, its a real pain. i new the sigma had a battery backup but i thought aslong as it was disarmed i coudl disconnect it. anyone help me on this please.

Do you have a valet mode like on the Cliffords?
Should have a key somewhere to switch the renault one off as well, I think mine was somewhere in the engine bay, cant remember as the guy who fitted my clifford switched it off for me!
