Where did you get the green belts from???

A girl on the facebook groups called Michelle Waters (Miss DF) does them, literally sent her a PM and she had a ton of colours and weaves, sent off a spare set of belts with pre-tensioner units, she sorts it all and sends them back!

Got to say, I'm impressed with 'my' 197 so far. While it isn't quite so eager as a 1*2, the confidence it gives you down the lanes is very, very impressive. I was in full heal 'n' toe, chucking it about mode within no time at all. Have thought that a Clio might well replace the Escort as my rally car of choice in the future. Up until now, it would have been based on a 1*2 but, after a few days in the 197, I think my money would go on one of those instead.

Shame I have to give it back really!

My mate has been talking about removing the stickers from his car for ages, but he's lazy and has never got round to it. As a thank you for lending me the car, I said I'd give it a go. The weather was pap this afternoon so I put the car in the garage and cracked out the hairdryer.

Big improvement I think you'll agree. Shame half the front splitter is missing but they seem hard to come by.

Just got out of my 172 Monaco for this. Got it because it's liquid yellow, liquid yellow and liquid yellow. Also, it's liquid yellow. Don't get me wrong, I was really sad to let the 172 go, and if I had the space it would never have gone. But this feels less fragile and everything feels like it was assembled well. Famous last words, I'm sure....

They do look so much better lowered and spaced mate. Possibly slightly harsher ride from the springs, but I’ve never driven a 200 on standard cup pack suspension. From what I’ve read, most people say it’s neither here nor there though in terms of harshness. Mine drives fine though.

Yes mate, H&R springs and spacers. They were already on the car when I got it, so assume the spacers are 20mm. (Haven’t got round to measuring them, but they look about 20mm). Cheers

Long time BMW man here. Had ///M cars for the last 12 years. Have a Z3, M235i & M2 in the fleet right now, but... Just picked up a 2009 Clio RS with Cup chassis, Recaros for track lulz.
