Re: help dash lights !!!!!

Check the dash dimmer down to the right hand side of the steering wheel.
As for the auto-lights, you sure you haven't switched them off accidentally?

Re: help dash lights !!!!!

dont think so mate my rear tail light is out but the bulb is ok do u think this could be connected ps checked all mu fuses

hi coming home from wk 1st my auto xenons stopped working but re set them and they now wk the dash illumination the clock and displays still work just not the speedo and the sterio etc my rear tail light is also out but bulb not blown checked fuses they seem ok ne suggestions

cheers

Re: help dash lights !!!!!

Yes, the fuse that does passengers side (i think) also does the interior dash illumination.

Are you sure they're all ok? Which side is out?

its left side i checked the fuse box at the end of the dash by the passengers side i will double check them i cant think what else it would be considering every single light is out excluding the lcd displays

Ok well as I said above the passengers side tail light is on the same circuit as the dash illumination.

Has your front passenger sidelight gone out too?

Other than the fuses or checking for a short somewhere I'm not too sure what to suggest really?

i had the same thing happen to me a few days ago.
It turned out to be a fuse, remember there are two separate fuses, one for left side and one for right side.
I believe its a 10A fuse (Red One)

i have just changed that fise again and it popped streight away surley if the right side fuse was gone it would not cause the left hand fuse to keep popping i checked all the connection and look for corrosion i also checked the numberplate lights which is out but the bulb doesnt seem to be blown i really cant get my head round this any suggestions as to why the fuse keeps blowing

Cheers guys

checked all rear light clusters even swaped the clusters
over but the fuses still keep poping has ne body got any clue ????????

you have got a short somewhere thats why the fuses are blowing, hard to say where though, it may not control just two things.

i thought as much any suggestions on most likely place guess i will be pulling the multimeter out .
