allowing cookies ??

Really daft question..

I'm trying to buy something on line & it says I need to have cookies enabled - where are they ?? How to I allow them on ??

It says either the browser or firewall isn't letting them on - I'm on IE6 with zone alarm fire wall.

Help !

In IE, Tools -> Internet Options -> Privacy -> Take it one setting lower if your having problems.

Cheers mate, done that, even dropped it right down - their sites not having any of it !
Tried everything too (well I think I have)

might be zonealarm thats doing it.

check settings, and you can do a similar thing where you lower the level.

idealy you do want cookies on all the time.

I've dropped both zone alarm settings to medium now (don't want to go lower at it's turns off the firewall) still no good

I never usually have a problem with buying stuff at all !
