  E90

Ouch!!! Sorry 2 hear that fella, Ive managed not to damage my standard 172 wheels touch wood for over a year, downside is parking like a women a foot from the kerb though!! The graphite, should hide the damage though i would of thought, itll only go graphite again when its full of brake dust and grime. The pictures just popped up, there not as dark as I thought, i bet that made a fcuking awful noise?? :(

how much does alloy repair normally cost? any idea? my two front alloys are a bit scuffed!

Ouch!!! That looks like my passenger side alloy,

I dont know what it is but every one who has driven my car has kerbed that one alloy, the other three are unmarked.....

I was quoted £40 to sort it, looks the same colour as yours, but am wondering if its worth it considering that it keeps happening, I point the wing mirrors down towards the kerb when parking but other people don’t!

I dont know if Im being paranoid but the wheels on my 172 seem to stick out more than on my siss Cup (?)

172 wheels are a knightmare, theres no tyre at all between wheel and kerb, its like breaking the mystique and farting in front of your G/F, once its done things arent quite the same, so I try not to do either :):) my "mystique" is in tact, so far.

Distance and cost arnt an issue!! I aint driving with that sh*t... i had those rims for nearly 2 yrs...And neva scuffed them!

Viv, where were u quoted that?

I think that distance might be an issue here….Cornwall. ;)

That was at a pretty big and reputable body shop, so I think £40 is probably the most youll have to pay
