Alloy wheel refurbishment/powdercoating in herts/essex

Anyone know of any decent places for this? Want to get my standard wheels done black, can't seem to find anywhere. Needs to be a drive in an out in a day really as iv no spare wheels. Live near to Sawbridgeworth so somewhere near there would be ideal. Have considered painting them myself but a bit apprehensive to be honest.

Also, anyone got any pics of a white 200 with standard cup wheels in black?

I'm off to JP Polishing in Canvey tomorrow to get my Turinis refurbed. he comes highly recommended and it's only 180 notes, the cheapest I've found. Should pick them up next week, so I'll try to remember to update this thread with my experience.

I had my old wheels done there on my cooper s, he is good, the place is a complete shithole mind but good finish and price, didn't wanna go again tho as its a b*****d to get back from, had mine done in a day do had to drop the car off then walk to benfleet station!

Ideal for you is The Wheel Specialist in Edmonton, I’ve had a few wheel sets done there and they always do a fantastic job. They take the tyre off, blast, repair if need be then powder-coat and rebalance etc. I've tried a few others in the past and now wouldn’t go anywhere other than to The Wheel Specialist. The guy who runs it is called Paul, tell him Mark Williams with the silver track Clio recommended him.

Thought I'd update this one after collecting my Turinis from J P Polishing the other day. John did a fantastic job, they are like new, and only £180! He takes off the tyres, and rebalances the wheels with new weights. He's based in a very small unit in a dump of an industrial estate, but he's a nice bloke and it's great work.

His 'yard' resembles something out of Snatch but I guess if it keeps his overheads down then so be it !

Since 'The Wheel Specialist' closed down I've been going to 'Paint-It' in Billericay, have had two sets done there and they always do a 100% perfect job, would definitely recommend them to anyone else.
