Alloys Refurbished 16v

The alloys of my Clio 16v phase II are starting to look grubby, a bit curbed and flakey and I wondered if it would be worth me getting them refurbished or just getting a new set? Has anyone had their alloys re done and how mint do they look afterwards? Can they get rid of curb damage? (I wasnt driving honest ;))

Ive heard you can still buy the original alloys for about £80 each from Renault, I think the standard wheels look pretty good so Im not bothered about getting another type......what do you think? Ta, Paul.

Think youd be looking at about 25quid per corner and they will come back perfect. I think some companies even do an exchange system - ie they remove your alloys and fit an already refurbished set at the same time so your not without your wheels.

My phase 1s looked really bad when i got the car but eventually decided on 16" willy replicas as i thinks its a bit more individual......comes down to taste i suppose but if your keeping it orig then go for it....
