9 months ago i put 17" mirror rimmed alloys on my 182 and they looked bril. note, past tense ! the rims now look stained and i,ve been told its because stones have chipped the laquer allowing dirt in. surely this isn't usual otherwise nobody would buy them. help !

if the rims are polished aluminium use autosol polish. i use it on my motorbike and absolutly swear by it.
