Just wondering if anywone has used Alpine stuff before and their ratings on it?

CDA-9831R: I am getting this £399 unit for £206.01 and wondered if people have used them and how good they are! Obviously the discount makes it worth getting but...

How good is good?

Ive got the CDA-7893R and very pleased with it. Alpine HU are top notch but there speakers arent that great.

What speakers did you use for your install then?

Infinity front components and Pioneers rear co-axs,not too bad but there are better out there, just depends what you can afford. Got a VIBE active sub as well which is superb

Cool - head unit in 2 wks and then spending about £2.5k on the engine etc.

ICE can wait til after Xmas.... see what is about then hehe

I´ve just mounted my new Alpine Media station, and that is one awesome piece of hardware.......... Sound qual. is so nice and clear and you can control almost anything with it. Makes you understand how many crap units that are out there. Alpine simply sets the standard in HU´s
