Alpine head unit

I have an alpine 7893r head unit and when i open it it makes a squeeking noise once it levels out and then when i put it back up it makes another squeek. How do i stop it making this noise and has this happened to anyone else?

How long have you had it?

Has it always done this or is it just recently?

Check how long the warranty you get with it is.

I have had it for almost a year now, and its been doing it for a while but just got really annoying recently.

I think it may have something to do with because there are that many wires out the back of it u have to push it with some force and may have bent the side parts and now its rubbing. Will have another look at it tonight.

a friend had this problem with a kenwood. Nothing that my small flat screw driver didnt fix Just bend the sides out a midges.
