Alpine IPod Lead KCE-422i

Considering getting a cheapy Ipod to use in the car, and apparently i need one of these.

Im assuming its plug and play etc.

What Ipods will work with my HU (Alpine 9880R)

I know diddly about ipods and headunits so please make it simple!!

I had this HU - It is really good!

The lead costs about £15 and played all my mates ipods. I'm not 100% which ones will deffo work on it though. I'm sure the new touch's etc dont but i may be wrong. Check on car audio directs website, it will tell you.

Website doesnt really give much away, it wont be a new / flashy ipod as its just gonna be stashed in the glovebox!!
