right, got an alpine HU, CDM7874RB, kicker 6.2i components and hav just got rid of my JBL sub and SPLx amp. just got off a m8 an alpine MRVT407 to power me components and now need to get sum subs and an amp. was thinkin of gettin 2 SWS1241 12" alpine subs and MRPM350 monoblock to power them, wot ppl think, and hav any of u got anybetter sudjestions for amp and sub combination, got about 300 quid for sub and amp

Its just a better spec sub, james

Replacing the one 12"sws sub for type R sub could be a improvement(?!), use the correct sub box/dimmensions.

If u want more SPL/bass go for two Type R!?? What about JL audio R.E, Rocky just for choice?? They are better than Alpine.

Just get powerfull amp to power them up buddy

for that money, get 1 x 12" Alpine Type R sub, and the MRP-M350 amp

ive spoke to the guys at Alpine tech a few times and they have always said go for the Type R sub and if you need to save any money get the V-Power amp (MRP-M350) as its a bargain and still a very good amp

James, Just like BRUN said stick with Alpine m8.

You really cant go wrong with their subs and Its what you like at end of day.

ye cheers m8, right will get a type r then, wire the voice coils in parallel to giv 2 ohms and wack it on that amp. cheers for the help ppl
