Alternator Bolt

Does anyone know the size of the lower alternator bolt- it seems to be an M8, not sure on the length.

Fitted a new bracket and the lower bolt worked loose and dropped off.

I'm assuming that you know this, but that threaded rod in the first picture doesn't look to be fitted properly, it should be like this:

Obviously if you've been disassembling it and done it yourself, please just ignore me.

Yep, the tensioner suffered my stupidity, as I was trying a temp fix. However it’s getting sorted thanks to the lovely human at Pure Motorsport.

Just need to order the long bolt from the bottom as that went AWOL on track today.

@Robproof I replaced my lower alternator bolt with a Genuine part & I believe it to be Part Number 7703002732 from my spreadsheet of part numbers.

I think @Mr Underhill has posted this part number in a previous post regarding this bolt.

Search Lower alternator pivot bolt on here & it should bring it up.
