Hi all.
After buying my 172 recently i have found that when at idle and a little rev i get a supercharger sound coming from my engine bay tracked it down to what i think the problem is, the alternator earth not be adequete enough.
Now its had a new alternator on the car, and looking at the wiring i cannot see an obvious earth wire, is there one on these or is it just done throught the battery earth?

But i dont think i can do this as i have a standard radio without RCA leads.
