Alternator?

My dci 65 is having a paddy.

I have the 'STOP' light and the battery light on when the engine is running. My first thought was the alternator, so I stuck a multimeter on the battery and got 12v, started the car and got 13v. So alternator is charging the battery, right?

Anything else that could put these lights on? Anything else I should check?

Hi I have the same problem. I checked alternator and battery and they seem ok. Did you find a solution to the fault?

Every single time ive had Stop battery its will be 1 or the other-

Battery or Alternator!

Mine still measured 13v when the engine was running but the alternator was shot. As I increased the revs the battery and stop light would go off, the more load that was on the battery (lights, stereo etc) the higher the revs would have to be.

Mine was the Alternator dude !!
