am i being ripped off?

my car has been suffering from the random low rev cutting out seen on many clios! took it to a well know garage chain today. they are telling me its the idle control valve!

the car hasnent cut out since monday morning and its now wednesday pm!

they want£120 to supply and fit i thinkthis is high but wot do u guys think???

Or should i just hold d and see if it happens again?
