Am i mad to consider buying these?

Pro Race 1/1.2 etc are as light as those and come without the hideous price tag.

Ok nearly that light but Pro Race's are acceptably light without paying silly money.

For a start if your thinking lightweight wheels I'd be looking at 15's my 182 was transformed when I replaced the heavy standard wheels with 15 inch Pro Race 1's

It's a fair enough purchase if you consider the price of Volk Racing wheels but they tend to go on cars worth a lot more than a Clio.

Get o.z superleg's or ultralegs, one of them is really light, can't remember which. f0xy had a post about the weight of his recently.

With good tyres you can get them down to something silly and they won't break the bank.

I'd buy a second hand set and have them refurbished to look new, saving even more.

I'd be able to get them at cost price which reduces the price a fair bit. Still an expensive wheel though and not available till September. Think I'll do some saving and see what I've got to play with around that time...
