Amazon 360 order looking good ...... BUT ...

Dates have changed today which looks good, says it will be despatched on the 4th and i will receive the 6th/7th.

BUT ............................... I ordered 2 ! and guess what ! .... they have cancelled one of them and sent me an email.

Believe it or not Amazon there are normally actully more than 1 person in a family ! If id known this 3 months ago i could have got my sister to order me the other 1. FFS !!!!!!!!

Why didnt they tell me this 3 months ago ! Really not happy with Amazon, been a customer for over 5 years and dont think they will see any of my business again after this fiasco!

Could have been worse i guess. In america, Amazon cancelled ALL 360 orders and put them back on the site as part of $1000 bundles. LOTS of people pissed about that.

Again you are a victim of the ebay w*nkers or rather the people stupid enough to buy things from them.

Most places though were allowing two Xbox's per order. I have two brothers and all three of us are buying one. I could have ordered all three together but as it was we did seperate orders. Two are coming to the same address but no problems with Gameplay, we are guarenteed stock on launch.

Want another but havent decided yet. Probably PDZ as there isnt a hell of a lot of choice and them seem to have the best reviews.

amazon are pathetic. 2 times ive tried to use them. first time i ordered ultima online:se, they told me they had stock in so i paid, they took the money. 2 weeks later got an email saying they was out of stock and theyde have copies in 2 weeks. 4 weeks later i had an email saying they couldnt get stock and they put the money back. clowns.

what they seem to forget is that i have been a loyal customer for 5 years. how many people have ordered as a one off and never use them again ??? 2 of my mates have ordered one from amazon and never dealt with them before.

i always use play.com and gameplay, gameplay have NEVER let me down for delivering a new game the day before release.

I did 3 oders with Gameplay one for console, controller and PGR3, one for Play and charge kit, and one for Live subs, only one that hasn't changed staus is the Live kit, which isn't a problem I can wait for that.

Bet if you ordered the pay and charge kit from gameplay you'll get it tomorrow.

EDIT perhaps there working today to get it despatched, yesterday after noon people orders were saying despatched people who ordered after me, but today my status changed, maybe yours will, I reckon it will just be randon the way they package up and despatch orders, as they know how many to send out from the pre orders.

What has pi*sed me off the most is that they have have swapped and changed so many times. Originally they said if you have ordered before 2nd Nov you will be ok. - I ordered 10 weeks prior to this date so i thought great!

Amazon communication is very poor ! dont even tell you if any dates have changed, no email, no explanation, nothing ! Been a regular customer for over 5 years and it dont mean a tap !
