its won't cost the person receiving a sms or mms, only calls.

Everyone pays to receive SMS and it's the same for MMS..

Im here at the moment and thinking of ditching vodafone for O2 anway.

prob didn't make it clear, they are in america on holiday. they have a uk phone on 02.
