amp adjusting

Right, need a bit of help setting up my amp for components.
Fitted some infinity components up front and at the rear. now im not sure how to adjust it up.
Do i turn the stereo up to say 30 and adjust the bass treble ect then once it sounds good and clear, turn the gain up on the amp to amplify the sound?
its a 450watt max amp with 250 watt max speakers. any help? thanks

If you have no sub fitted, set crossovers to Flat or Off to allow full range driving of your speakers.....
