Amp choice

Hi just starting my system. Just brought a kenwood dvd player, still need to get a cd autochanger if anyone has got one for sale. I have got top of range polk front components and very decent soundstream rear speakers. Sorry havent got model numbers on me at moment. I need to get an amp for this setup. I have seen a kenwood amp that is 2*300 or 4*100 that i could get. Speakers are 13cm so are all rated at 100watts, or will the kenwood not push them properly. What is recommended.

Cheers for any help

nah dont go for a kenwood amp if you have spent good money on the speakers

have a look at a genesis profile 4 amp, puts out around 4x100 RMS, sound quality is nothing short of excellent, and a bargain price

most front speakers are rated around the 80w RMS mark, the genesis amp would power them perfectly

nah dont buy kicker, really hyped up and in fact a bagoshyte

the genesis amp is the one you want, or even look at soundstream

soundstream are decent amps,

unless you are willing to run the rear co-ax from the head unit, youd be better off with more channels from your amp

as i said above, 4ch is the best bet, or 5ch if you want a sub aswell
