Amp Help Needed



  172 PH1,Skoda oct VRS
I fitted a amp and sub this week works fine till i start the engine getting feedback of the alternator brought a supressor for it has anyone fitted one before not really sure where it goes? sounds like it goes in the ignition and back of stero is that right?

Sounds like your not using triple sheilded rca's to me. Had the same problem a few years ago on an install where i was using shite rca cables.

Hi everyone just signed up on this forum, getting back to the question you need to run the powercable to the oppisite side of the power cable as it will reduce the interfearance.Can send pic to explain.

so how come i don't get any and my remote runs between the rca's:D
 
i drilled a nice big hole in the boot, and created a dedicated earth for the amp, using anything in the car doesn't seem to work as well IMHO

i did the same, remember to sand back the paint.

I unscewed the boot clamp/lock thingy (where the boot shuts onto) and put it on there.

Works perfect for me.

I can't ask for any more from an earthing point than perfect.
