Amp mounting locations

So I'm so to put another amp in, and i have 2 possibilities to where it goes.

It is to power the front and rear speakers.

I could put it under the passenger seat, thinking I wont need so much speaker wire....

Or I think i prefer mounting it in the boot, as then I will split my main power back there. Will there be enough ventilation on the back of my sub box? (so between the back of the box and back of the rear seats?) is the only place I think i will have secure space in my boot..... Cheers!

Afaik if you are running 2 amps its best practice for them to share the same earth, the earth should also be under 1ft. I think this is especially important when using the same power cable to power both, ideally through a fused distribution block. Using the same earth reduces the likelihood of ground loop interference I think.
