Amp

  2004 1.2 Dynamique

Since having my sub and amp fitted in my car the bass seems to have powered down and doesnt seem as loud, dont really know much about adjusting the bass power or anything, anyone tell me how i turn the bass up on the amp because as i turn it up on the head unit at the moment it crackles a little bit but did not before

  don't

On the amp u should have a high/low pass filter switch???

also a round dial for ur gain??

that sound right

u want the amp on low pass 2 power the sub so it mainly gets bass and not the higher end notes

i take it the amp is only powering the sub?? sounds like the gain is right down on the amp at moment, the crackling i take it is from ur speakers??? cos they wont like lots of bass

ye thanks mate, the 6x9 wires are a little loose thats what is probably crackling, il have a look when i have finished work, will i be able to adjust the bass with my hands or will i need a screw driver?

  don't

unless u got a big nail then u may need a screwdriver or a 5p mayb

small screw drivers prob best, have ur hu bass on about middle and turn hu up 2 about 3/4 power or however loud itll ever go really, then adjust gain 2 suit

if its a new sub and amp then dont put things up 2 high as a new sub will need 2 b worn in
