Ampage of alternator

Can anyone help with a new alternator advice. a garage wants £850 fitted to take an alternator out and recondition it as they can’t find a replacement. Sounds like alot no? Are aftermarket ones available for this and could anyone tell me what amps mine is. 182 clio with aircon?

110 Amp.

Don't bother with aftermarket, find a reconditioned Valeo.

A genuine one these days is about £300 tbf

And fitting them is a bit of a pain in the dick

Price of the alternator, then labour probably an hour to remove and same again to refit, plus new aux belt.
