Annoying Brakes

Becoming very annoyed with my brakes now. Everytime i brake normally they squeek so loud it sounds like theres a woman screaming under my car. Doesnt seem to squeek when i brake hard..

how can i get rid of this irritating noise ?? Thanks.

What pads are you running? Standard? Have they actually got anything left on them or are they down to the metal? lol

Yup standard pads..theyre not worn down..still in good condition which is why im stuck as to what the squeeking is :dapprove:

pads off, copper grease the back, pads back on, squeaking gone.

^ that'll cure it for a bit but in my experience it'll come back.

I know the OP doesn't have them, but Brembo's are notorious for squealing (they do it from about 10 mph to stand still)

I dont give a s**t on the cup as apparently its the compound so never gonna get rid of it. Didnt keep the punto long enough after to see if it came back.

If they're cheap pads aswell they'll just keep on squeaking no matter what you do with copper grease.
