Annoying CLICK CLICK!

I have an 02 Clio, when i use intermittent wipers they click on and off, click click click. The rear wiper also creates this click which sounds as if it comes from behind the glove. its loud and annoying and im sure it didnt always do this?

Anybody else?

its the relay. Shouldnt be that loud though.

Its a relay switch making the noise to activate the wiper motors.

You want to hear loud get in a saxo. Indicators make a unbelievable amount of noise.

Mine had the same problem took it back and they said unless it gets worse we wont do anything

ur best option it to turn the volume up or turn the wipers on all the time

Yep - agree there, but i dont notice them anymore.

If you wanted to stop it you could just replace the relays with some quieter ones (or wrap them up) - dunno where from as these are rain-sensitive controlled.

Everything in a Saxo is loud, its made that way to give the impression that you are toasting every car on the road. If you manage to get off the pills, ( Citreonadine ) you will eventually come down to earth and realise that the Saxo is simply an auditorium of noise to dupe its victims into believing their car is the ultimate road weapon.

Reality pills can be a liitle disturbing at times, but I can assure you Renaultomoxinol have far fewer unwanted side effects.

Ive been toying with the idea of soldering wires onto the end of the relay with the terminal base of an similar relay soldered on the wire ends then relocating the relay well under the dash somewhere wrapped up in foam. Just never had time to investigate this idea yet!

Mine does the clicking noise, doesnt bother me in the slightest, if it does just turn the radio up!!!
