Annoying clutch pedal position!

just got my 2nd hand phase2 172 and i love it but theres one annoying thing.....anyone else noticed that the top of theyre left foot hits off the carpet above the clutch pedal when fully depressed? i seem to have to be pushing the pedal in with the tip of my toes as opposed to the ball of my foot

and im a size 9 so not above the average.....just annoying as it means i have to re adjust my foot to get the pedal fully in when changing gear

is this common on the phase 2 172's, like just bad positioning of the clutch pedal?

tried a search but no ref to it at all so im thinking is mine different?

cheers

all ph2 (and ph1 i think) have a very high bite point on the clutch.

my previous fiesta had a light and sensible clutch, when moving onto the clio, it was the only thing that disapointed me. But you get used to it.

its only bad when wearing work shoes or desert boots....it seems they might have designed the clutch pedal position for women

it was just frustrating me coz when i push the pedal in fully my foot hits off a bump in the carpet...guess i will get used to it though

thanks
