Annoying heat shield

Got a 2002 172 and don't seem to be able to cure the heat shields from giving off an annoying rattle at around 3500 rpm it's doing my head I any suggestions

All you can really do is find the rotten part / hole as it is, take the bolt out and put a larger washer over it and bolt it back on, pain in the arse all of mine are coming off one after the other.

Is it hitting the exhaust or the body of the car?
As above if its hitting the car, or if its tapping the exhaust then just put a heat wrap around your exhuast.

i pulled mine off the car it got that bad.

How long has it been off the car for, and did you replace it with anything?

had mine off for 8-10months, no shields no issues, but i have miltek duno if that makes any odds
