Annoying white stuff

  172 cup TT

Howdy, quick question - When polishing / Waxing your car are you all VERY careful to not get it on the black parts of the car i.e: water door seals, black bumper bits etc... Because my cup splitter has these white bits all over it now.. whats the best way to remove these?? - i dont know whether to cover it up with stuff like "back to black" etc, OR to use water or something and scrub it off!.. thanks all

just use Auto Glym Bumper Care on it, will bring all your black trim up a treat and it goes straight over polish marks

dont waste your time and money on anythin else !

haha llong... cheers all :) - so you guys dont try really hard to avoid hitting the black bits you just cover it up afterward... cooooool

I use a mixture of 1/8 linseed oil (the stuff you use on criscket bats) and 7/8 white spirts. Rub it on with a cloth then let it dry, sometimes you need more than one coat though.

Best idea Ive found is to remove the bump strips etc as if you get the polish removal on the bodywork it makes it go a bit wired.
