Lethal this car with 4 pots and 50/50 aren't they.
Don't think it was wheel speed as it read whilst stationery with ignition on but engine off. Must have been resistance? Looking back now sure it was ohms.was it wheel speed or resistance? i assume wheel speed?
Try as in with a multimeter to read ohms? Surly the OSR would also be playing up as well though?before you change the sensor try the plug under the floor on passengers side just behind front subframe.
Mine is exactly the same. Do you have a link to the one you bought please?OK so just been for diagnostics again (no charge) and took the car for a spin this time and the readings where in km/h so wheel speed as @bloke suggested and the NSR was reading crazy like 2000 km/h when doing 30, the rest where spot on. So it's defo a duff sensor. Also managed to source the correct ATE part from ECP for £59 so all good. Just need to get the stubborn git out now, think it will have to be knocked out with a socket with the disc off.
Fingers crossed I can start having some trouble free motoring now.
Thanks again to all who helped, this place is a fountain of knowledge.
Hi mate, the part is not online with EPC you will need to call your local branch for them to order in. Part No 417745750, make sure its an ATE part not Bosch and pull the duff sensor out first and take it with you on collection for reference.Mine is exactly the same. Got my mechanic to order one on last Friday and they said 5 days delivery. Today ecp say they can't get any at all, so I'm having to pay renault for one. And yes, it is a bloody rip off.Hi mate, the part is not online with EPC you will need to call your local branch for them to order in.
