I hope! Certainly looked happy at the "quite good" paint work!!!

In all serious, another nice chap, Kris86 off here asked for a detail and it was done!

Usual method, car was in top nick, just needed the dreaded de-swirling, so out with the PC with Menz IP and SRP to finish, then sealed, usual method, nothing out of the ordinary, lovely colour, here are the pics

Oh, and it was pissing it down for most of the day, hence the lack of imaginative shots!

Yeah as i said to Jamie, i think drugs would be a cheaper hobby hah..need to get me a pc though if only to put SRP on for the time being, putting it on by hand is just hard work heh.

There were still a couple of deep scratches on the paint work so SRP was used to give a better/glossier finish than Menz FF mate.

Do you think the menz final finish polish would not provide enough cut? I think im right in saying the paint on these clios are pretty hard!

I'm sure a 3m cut compound would be better then finished off with menz?

Depends what you compare it to Shadowness, in comparison to the paintwork of a beemer or older style audi, they are pisch soft. But in comparison to Honda paint, another story!!

TBH the Menz did it's job very well and got out all of the major scratches and all the swirls. However, there are one or two deep scratches that I would not want to go to harsh on in all honesty. The SRP was used to fill these scratches, but would not affect/fill any others since they are no longer present. It also brings out the gloss of the freshly cut paint work, and gives the BG flake a nice warmth.
