More progress yesterday, fitted the coilovers to the car, rear went without a hitch, set 20mm up from bottom thread each side.
The fronts were a nightmare. Had to get the plasma cutter out and chop the drivers coilover in half that was on the car lol it was seized solid, luckily the heat expansion helped with undoing the top mount nut, hard to explain but either way it worked, people overtightening bolts and cheap coilovers rotting to bits is all I will say..
Either way the car is on spax rsx full coilovers front and rear and is absolutely transformed [emoji108] but coming from budget coilovers with one dead rear shock and one absolutely goosed front coilover explains that.
Unfortunately me being me set the car to full hero spec, 5 clicks off hard...
This resulted in me going round the first roundabout backwards lol 2 degrees and wet roads with hard semi slicks would have also contributed but front and rear are now near enough middle setting on stiffness now and seems a lot more usable on roads. Comfortable enough for me anyhow.
Couple of quick pics, didn't get any while fitting due to being stressed with fronts. Will get some better pics when set up and aligned by a proper place..
Cars getting better and better [emoji108] still got a few things to do before end of march, brakes and allignment next.
