172
Right guys basically I need to choose between 3 different coilovers fir my 172 track car. The only time it will see the road is to and from the track and I'm not to bothered about it being horrendous on the road as long as it performs on track.
First are the Gaz Golds, having done a search there's a few people slating them? Is this a case of a few bad shocks and everyone's jumped on the bandwagon of there crap? I like the fact there rebuildable, the customer service seems to be excellent, they use a full coilover on the rear and there built here in the UK.
Next is the BC Racing DR series, I know these are fairly new but seem to be highly rated on here? My mate has a set on his 182, they do seem good to me but I have nothing to compare them to. For a shock that uses digressive valving they seem quite cheap? Would prefer a proper coilover on the rear but if there good then there an option.
Lastly is the AVO's. I know nothing about these, just saw them whilst looking, there a bit more expensive then the rest but I'd consider them if there good?
Any opinions on the above? Budget 8-900.
