surely bonnet catches is a minor inconvenience?
mines the blue one at the back, spot the ITB's
Just read through your thread Hutchie, impressive
Our ITB kit fits with the stock bonnet catch and slam panel so no need to drill holes in your bonnet or dump the slam panel. There are no external signs that the car isn't standard engine wise from the outside.
See: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/show...w-Prices-Extras-As-Standard-and-New-Options-) for details
Everyones different im just fussy!
I realllly need to pay my membership... cant view the link! What kind of results do you see from your ITB kits? Graphs?

i know mate i can be aswell, but if your committed to throttlebodies and parting with a good few £X000, i wouldnt let bonnet catches get in your way, but hey your problem is solved with the tdf kit

Just need to compromise a little induction length really. I personally prefer to use the longest trumpets that will fit in a clio bay, and have some space around the filter/trumpets which you gain by removing the slam panel, but you dont lose an exceptional amount by keeping the stock bits in place. Quite a personal thing building up a car anyway, so there's no need to do it the same every time
wheres this happening then?
is that with management?
Then coil pack mount, throttle pedal, throttle pedal mount, throttle cable, engine control solution, loom work, calibration, filtration solution, CAN work to avoid a dash full of MILs and a few other bits and bobs...... Simples
Without management, have a couple of emeralds lying around at work if they will work with the vvt??? If not mangement will be on top
Emerald will work, use the "Shiftlight" output to drive the VVT as it's only a ground side switch. 60-2 on the Clio flywheel isn't conventional 60-2 as such as it has a large double tooth reference after the gap but assuming you have the later Emerald software it'll work with a bit of playing. Good luck calibrating it though, I hate calibrating Emeralds (and we still get one a week!).
No user configurable CAN on Emerald though.
