Another knocking noise

I know about the knocking noise that occurs on 172/182s when you release your foot from the accelerator at low speeds, but

I am getting a loud knocking noise whilst making a sharp left or right turn over a bumpy road. The noise happens in-sync with the shocker movements.

I have recently fitted new shockers and springs but this problem existed before.

Is this related to the strut problem reported previously ?

this noise is to do with a incorrect size pipe used in the power steering system!

Really. I cant imagine a pipe making a knocking noise. Can it be fixed ?

i have this too Matty, think its a common one. Have possibly heard someone mention strut mounts or something like that and I think people have had them adjusted and they still do it.

Not 100%, but thats what i think it is.

I supposedly had the struts fixed on mine, but it made no difference.

Maybe it is the struts but they cant fix them. I find it very un-nerving. It sounds like a major fault to me. It may not be critical, but it doesnt inspire confidence.

Not 100%, but thats what i think it is.

I was told by Lambs in Chesterfield that the strut fix (Grinding some of it back!) cured the low speed knocking when on full lock.

tbh, i havent mentioned it to the dealer as it only happens on one of the corners on my way to work so I can live with it as its not doing any damage. I have just of so many people have it done and it still does it.
