Another misfire!!!

Car  03 clio 172
Hi all, this is my first post and first problem with my 03 172.Just started to get misfire when pulling away from a junction/roundabout,i have to pull over turn off restart then fine until next time i have to pull away. Now at standstil it sounds a little off but nothinnng to bad when i raie the revs it starts to miss at 1500-2000 then sounds ok.I have read alot of posts on here nd checked the injectors buy removing them in turn while running and the engine note changes for each one so i asume i can rule a faulty injector out? Today i am goint to have a go at changing the plugs (ngk) and fitting a new coil pack,is there any do and dont tips? Should the battery be fully disconnected things like that.If this doesnt help what should i be looking at next?ps i get no waning lights or faults when put on code reader? All help and advice would be great thanks.

coil packs are quite common on these. And for safety u should dissconect the battery providing you have the radio code (if u have the standard radio still in) however i tend not to dissconnect it

Changed coil pack and now not misfiring or problems when pulling away, still a little bit lumpy on tickover so going to go ahead and change plugs.

How lumpy? All to these are pretty lumpy on idle, makes sitting at the lights more interesting :)

Don't start throwing hundreds at it mate if it drives nice just leave it, they all idle crap you will more than likely plough £££ into it and will still be lumpy and misfirey on idle.

rstuner maps help a fair bit though plus really smooth out the rev range and also help with cold starts.

mine is doing exactly the same thing. Misfiring from idle all the way to about 2/2500. New CP, plugs, leads. I'm going to clean my crank sensor before I spend anything.

Plugs changed,it had 1 ngk plug the rest bosch super4? No misfire no probs running quite smooth :) Think i will leabe it now and see how it goes.thaks for all advice and replies chaps.

Ok done about 200 miles since coil pack and plug change.running fine once warmed up but on start up its well rough between 1500-2000 rpm,it was ok before?dodgy sensor?
