Hi everyone,
I've been lurking in the background for a while now, just sold my car today and so getting a 172 next week :) . Been waiting so long for insurance to come down, can't wait now.

third page, pearl black 172 :cool:. I know someone who knows the owner of the garage so not paying full whack...

p.s. hope this is in the right section...

Thanks, I wasn't sure on the colour at first as I've never seen a black one, but that just made me want it more!

Blimey, that seems a little pricey to me mate, welcome anyhow! You could of had mine mate, only sold it a month back, ok it was 2001 but ws in very good nick, but same miles as this one, exactly same colour, fsh 17" bsa motorsport alloys and magnex exhaust and filter, I sold it for 4k!:)

Well the car got delivered tonight as a little surprise to me :) , it's absolutely mint no scratches and interior is spotless. Even the steering wheel bits aren't cracked! Needs a good clean then will get some pics up.

dRUM, 4K sounds very cheap! I paid 5.5k for mine so fair bit under asking price, well chuffed though. Just need to find somewhere that does 97/98RON petrol out here...

I know 4 k was cheap, but no other bugger wanted it!! Apparently if I had kept her standard there would have been more interest, but never mind, no point keeping them standard imo. The one you have bought looks very nice mate, that's the one thing I loved about my pearl black 172 was the fact that when you washed and polished her, she shone, well for all of 10 mins untill you drove her!! Hope you enjoy your car mate:)
