went to start the track car today to move it from the garage. Turned over, fired then nothing (totally cut out) now there is no power to the car at all. Cant turn on lights, not even the immob light is flashing. Battery is fine and all fuses in engine bay/inside car fine.

Any ideas? may just have to track the power wires through the car.

thanks

battery earth is fine, what other earths would affect this (and location ^.^)

i'm not sure how accessible it might be with the dash in place, but have a look to see if the feed to the fuse board is at all accessible and test that. if it's getting voltage, i'm guessing you've a problem with the fuse board; if not, you're back to battery earth and the positive as it travels to the fuse board

have you a wiring diagram (Haynes?) as, that said, i'm assuming the ignition is on a separate engine loom, which does kind of bring you back to a battery/lead problem

sorry, i've no real experience of the Clio's electrics and am no autoelectrician, although, with a basic wiring diagram and/or a little time tracing the wiring loom/s from the battery, you should be able to find out what's up
