Another 'what's this plug' thread

Hi all, while sorting out the various rattles and squeaks in my 182 I came across an unconnected plug that I hope someone can identify for me.
Its a purple plug with two wires (one green, one white) that was hanging down behind the aircon/heater control panel.
Should it be connected in my 182FF?

i cant tell you what the wires are ,not looked at mine.
I sorted the rear window rattle(got worse after dogbone fitted).
on the parcel shelf there are 2 rubber stoppers.. you can lift them up, since i have put abit of rubber underneath ,all the rattling has shopped.
