Anti Hi-jacking

My anti hi-jacking was working on my car and now it isnt, any ideas?

Firstly ive had a new stereo fitted, would this be something to do with it or is it likely that......................

.........Secondly renault have had there hands on it recently and reprogrammed something or other (<-- yes that is a technical female term!!!!) so that my interior light now works. Would it be likely that they have cocked something up when doing this. Would the anti-hijacking need to be programmed in to activate?

I have only just noticed that it no longer activates so I dont know which of the two steps above is to blame. It still works when I press the button on the dash but before it use to active by itself.

Have you tried pushing and holding the button down until it beeps.

This turns it on/off

Is this where the doors auto lock above a certain speed?

If so the answers up there ^^

Push the lock button on the centre console until it locks and keep it held down until you hear a very audible beep.

Mine did this. If the button does nothing the connector at the rear has probably come loose. Mine was due to Nokia car-kit install. Also stopped the alarm working!

Mine locks automatically when I start moving but Hannahs 172 doesnt. Are they all supposed to do it auto?
