any change on insurance

hi anyone help me, got me windows tinted on my 182, do i have to let the insurance company know, and will they charge me more because its been added on as a modification,

Let them know either way, better than not and voding your insurance.

If it does make a difference it would be minimal, If you have after market alloys or a backbox, then the window tint wont add any extra to the policy, shouldnt anyway, mine wouldnt have.

Also confirm they are legal - the plod are getting tighter on them now!
