carbon cannister, i know these are to do with fuel vapours or something S ) but can it be disconnected as the solenoid in it is clicking/ticking like a b*****d and is getting on me nerves

Had mine replaced under warranty, for a plastic one.

It sounds like your cambelt is about to jump off

Took three dealers to sort it for me, click,clack,tick,tick like a bingo machine

Yep just remove it most hybrids don't have them.

I'd just get it fixed/replaced.

warranty long gone, wonder if they are the same off other clios, but just find a plastic one?

i take it it sorted the problem? Bumper off job too i believe?

yeah sounds harsh inside the car, yet strangely enough not outside lol. Did think about just dissconecting it!!!
