Any easy way to find out tell if engine has different cams?

  2004 RB182 Cup
As the title, I have a 172 cup which feels a lot faster than I expect it should. It revs to 7500rpm and has a very noticeable aggressive power delivery after 5k revs. I am doing the belt and dephaser soon and just wanted to know is there any way to distinguish what cams are in there by looking at them.

Thanks

  dan's cast offs.
Pic of inside the oil filler and then cam ends will show if it's had cams.

Also map sensor reading at idle can sometimes be an indicator.

Sounds quite standard for a 172 to be honest, other than a slightly higher rev limit.

Did the guy you bought it off you say "sounds like it's been cammed M8"

If so it definitely has not got aftermarket camshafts in it.

Maybe that’s what it’s had then. I was really surprised at how well it goes! Has anyone a picture of how the ends of the cams should look
