Any good deals on pressure washers at the moment?

Ours is packed up, so looking to get a new one and I'll be getting a snow-foam lance at the same time!

Has anyone seen any ones with a decent offer at the moment? Looking at a Karcher most likely, I've looked on HotUKDeals and found none recent but I know Tesco usually have some on quite good offer but not sure which is suitable to get etc!

Any suggestions appreciated, not sure what I'm looking for!

Matt

There have been a few threads recently, Matt. Granted not specific offers, but there are some decent amazon links.

Ok cheers, I'll see if I can find the links!

If not, do you have the thread links yourself? :D

edit: Just seen the threads a few below mine, are the Nilfisk any good? Last time I looked they were meant to be on par with Karcher but don't want to invest if it's not worth it! Looking to spend about £150 all in for the washer & lance so that gives me roughly £100 to play with!

Few differing opinions chap. I've had bad experiences with the plastic impellers in the karcher pumps snapping and the unit failing. So switched to nilfisks and (touch wood) had no issues. The c110 is about 50-100 quid on amazon.

I have the c110 3.5 and it does the job, not the greatest for creating a really thick foam but not bad. it can generally be found for £50-£60, £45 for a snow foam lance that I very rarely use now, more so with the hose ban coming

I'm sure Tesco nearly always have the entry level Karchers at half price? Maybe google a few of the models on detailing world?

I just received mine yesterday. Yet to try it yet, but paid £51 for it at Cleanstore.co.uk and got a free brush and patio cleaner!

let me know if theyre any good lads,
i keep looking at the bugger lol.
theyre half price, should have been £199.

I picked one up an hour ago, looks like a nice bit of kit!

Now to get a snowfoam lance, i assume the groupbuy on DW is still the best offer?

What's their foam like?? Is it worth getting just because it seems cheap, or does it not give a good foam?

To late for the OP but Argos has some offers on Nilfisk c110.3-5 £74.99 if anyone is looking.

that's quite expensive for the C110 as they're often on sale at Argos / Amazon / Screwfix

Is anyone using a p/w from a static source like a water butt? Not sure how long this hosepipe ban is likely to be in place for...

the ban is here to stay, and east Anglia is going to be like it for the next couple of years unless weather seriously changes. This is from guys working on big projects to enlarge a couple of local resoviour.

The Karchers have a separate water pick up I believe, plenty of people turning to it

Ahh ok cool, yep I believe this has a seperate pickup!

In terms of snowfoam what's good stuff to get? I'm wanting a thick foam, just got the Autobrite lance from the group buy but the foam that comes with it is less than good (unless im not putting enough in?).

I had the nozzle most of the way out so it was mostly all foam, but it was still very thin and wouldn't last longer than 5min to be honest!

autobrite magnifoam and super snow foam are pretty good, I got them both with my lance. Most of it comes down to the pressure / flow rate of the pressure washer. Should need no more than 1" in the bottle filled with water. Mine doesn't last very long. with a good pressure washer you'll get pretty good foam from a shampoo. Have a look through some of Russ' write ups as I'm pretty sure you uses megs hyper wash to foam

I got it very foamy today properly washing it, but as you said needed a good 1" and low water coming out, nearly used the whole bottle (the one that attaches), it uses a lot of magnifoam!

Again, it didnt last that long, but certainly came out better than thursday :)

All washed & prepped for the incoming hosepipe ban :(
