Any Ideas Guys

I bought my 1.4 RT friday before last, it has developed its fair share of problems now. I bought it from my mate, well from his dad really. The Brake Lines have corroded and split and one of the springs has snapped. I explained to him that this could not be down to me driving it for 5 days!

He has agreed to pay for the work at his local garage in Hook, Hampshire. Now i dont doubt the quality of work at all but the problem is gettin the car there as the brakes dont work at all.

I have AA cover, the maximum level of cover. Would they recover my car down to hook (approx 40 miles away) from my house in Bucks?

If anyone has had experience or had this happen to them it would help to hear from you.

Why wont he pay for it to be done locally to you if hes agreed to pay for it?

Im not really sure, its the garage he always uses and the garage that had done work on the car a few weeks prior to my purchase.

you could try telling the aa that you are going to an address very near to the garage and get towed there under your cover.

i had mine towed because of dodgy brakes.. also gave me a courtesy car for 48 hours.
