Id have thought containering would be quite expensive, especially if just for the car. We regularly send machines out to Hungary/Romania/Russia and theyre sent on a low loader rather than in a container. Whether having to partly disassemble them has an influence over cost I dont know.

Its not a Renaultsport cup racer, from what Tony was telling me they are converted 'road' cup's

You know that Fred we have talked about it before,Renault sent out about 40 172s and then converted into a one make series under the watchfull eye and guidence of Renault sport,and the main spec was to keep the costs down to make it affordable and to get full grids,this did work and became very popular.
I mean who can really afford £75k min a year!!?

i did drive yoz's car (with cup racer suspension) about 2000miles round europe, its do able!

I did 3000 miles in my GT, completely stripped out on coilovers and it wasn't that bad, you get used to the noise.

Failing that, find a mate with a tow bar, find another with a trailer and off you go.
