Any one know any good remap companies that come to you???

ive tried a few places for a remap, but most only do work on diesel engines. need one for a 172. any one had one done? i dont mind traveling a bit if i need to. i live in lincolnshire.

celtic tuning could do one and come out to you but they mainly specialise in turbo diesels and what not. Give them a call and see if they can do one for a 172. Search google for them.

Like Fred says, RS Tuning at Leeds.

I live near Newark and went up there to have mine re-mapped.

Well worth the trip, about 75 mins door to door. Made quite a difference to mine, especially in low down grunt.

Do you have any other mods?

As Phil says, RS Tuning. Mine was their very first 172 and showed some great results. Nearly 15 lb/ft gained mid range IIRC. Torque is what counts.

Cold air feed shouldnt be a problem.
